Joseph Blata

Attorney Joseph Blata was born and raised in a small town in northern Michigan.  He is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a dual major in English and Psychology.

After spending some time in corporate America, he began pre-medicine studies at Central Michigan University.  It was during his studies there that Joseph decided instead of psychiatry, his true calling was in the legal field.  He then enrolled at Michigan State College of Law, where after graduating he passed his bar exam on the first attempt.

Joseph then returned to his small town roots and landed at Gower Reddick PLC as an associate partner, concentrating in the areas of criminal defense, family and juvenile law, as well as bankruptcy and estate planning law.

Joseph is committed to providing honest, vigorous, and no nonsense representation to his clients.  He draws on his life experiences as a product of small town kid who made it to and graduated from one of America’s best universities, who has also studied internationally, and who has held several jobs in the “real world” along the way to becoming an attorney, in helping himself understand and assist people from all walks of life.
